Commissioned and custom work is truly a creative collaboration between the patron and the artist. We are partners in creating ... A portrait of your child or grandchild... your pet ... your animal spirit guide ......... An adornment featuring your favorite gemstone or flower......... An accessory for living history buffs, performing artists, dreamers of all kinds.

Just as the great chiefs of the Pacific Northwest and the noble families of Renaissance Europe did, you can commission a work of fine art to suit your taste. Commissioned art is accessible and affordable to everyone, and can be as simple or as elaborate as you want, in whatever medium you want. Call or e-mail so we can work as a team to make your dream piece a reality.

Please remember that creating a masterpiece takes time …. Four to 10 weeks depending on the complexity of the piece. If the materials needed for your work are not readily available, that can add to the time required. I will always let you know ahead of time how long it will take, and inform you immediately of any delays (and the reason therefore)

You can pay for commissioned work the same as for other original artwork, as described here. I require a deposit of half the total cost before accepting a commission, and I retain the copyright to the work.
